Gazprom Neft receives 120 tonne daily oil inflow at Ignyalinskoye
MOSCOW, Jul 30 (PRIME) -- Gazpromneft-Angara, a subsidiary of Russian oil company Gazprom Neft, has received a consistent daily inflow of 120 tonnes of oil at the Ignyalinskoye field in the Irkutsk Region thanks to multistage hydraulic fracturing, the company said in a statement on Monday.
Gazprom Neft previously created a model of seismologic development of the field together with U.S. oilfield servicing giant Schlumberger. “This result shows good commercial prospects of the project…Tests of two pilot wells that were drilled at the Ignyalinsky site have completely confirmed the match of the model and the real situation,” the company said.
The Ignyalinskoye field is a part of the Chonsky project of Gazprom Neft. Combined reserves of the project’s fields exceed 1 billion tonnes of oil and about 300 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
